1. General Terms
1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Home Digital Vision for the digitization of audio, video, film, and photo media.
1.2 By placing an order with us, you confirm that you own or have the right to digitize the media provided.
1.3 We reserve the right to refuse any material that violates copyright laws, contains illegal content, or is deemed inappropriate.
2. Service Process
2.1 Customers must provide media in a format that is compatible with our digitization process.
2.2 While we take the utmost care in handling your materials, we are not responsible for any pre-existing damage, deterioration, or loss of content due to aging media.
2.3 The turnaround time for services varies based on order size and media condition. Estimated completion times will be communicated upon order confirmation.
3. Payment & Pricing
3.1 Prices for our services are subject to change without prior notice. However, any confirmed order will not be affected by price changes.
3.2 Full payment is required before delivery of the final digitized content.
3.3 We accept payment via offline & online payments. Refunds are only applicable under specific conditions outlined in our refund policy.
4. Delivery & Storage
4.1 Digitized files will be delivered via USB, external hard drive, DVD, or cloud storage, as per the customer’s request.
4.2 Customers must collect their original media within 10 days after order completion. Unclaimed media may be disposed of after 30 days.
4.3 We are not liable for loss or damage to media during third-party shipping or courier services.
5. Privacy & Data Security
5.1 We respect customer privacy and ensure that all digitized content remains confidential.
5.2 We do not share or distribute any personal media without the customer’s written consent.
5.3 Digitized content will be stored temporarily for a maximum of 30 days after delivery, after which it will be permanently deleted unless requested otherwise.
6. Limitations of Liability
6.1 While we take all reasonable precautions, Home Digital Vision is not responsible for any accidental damage or loss of media during the digitization process.
6.2 We do not guarantee the enhancement or improvement of poor-quality media beyond standard restoration procedures.
6.3 Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
7.1 Orders can be canceled before the digitization process begins. Once processing has started, cancellations are not permitted.
7.2 Refunds are only applicable in cases of technical failure or service errors on our part.
7.3 If you are dissatisfied with the service, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your digitized content for resolution.
8. Changes to Terms & Conditions
8.1 We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be available on our website.
8.2 Continued use of our services after changes implies acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
